Begging will not get you more Twitter followers.
I was the main one Guilty also of following thousands of people in hopes of getting more Twitter followers.
Following wasn?t the problem. The problem was, I was following the wrong people. I followed countless people who did not follow me back. SMH(shaking my head)
At one point I think I was following like 80,000 people with only 12,000 followers. Just Terrible!
Many of you are in the same situation or worse. You may not even have 12,000 followers but that?s ok, I?m going to provide you with 2 Simple concepts to get more Twitter Followers.
LET?S DO A LITTLE THINKING OUTSIDE THE BOX WITH THE FIRST CONCEPT

I know it?s hard to think of your Twitter Followers as Real People, but they are.
What would you do to get more people to follow you in Real Life?
1. Flattery
Flattery goes a long way in Real Life, Business, and yes you guessed it Twitter.
Chances are, if you flatter someone on Twitter, they will follow you and Retweet your Tweets.
This in return will bring more Twitter followers.
So How do I Sweet Talk Twitterers?
Great Question?
1. Retweet their Tweets.
Make sure it?s something your current Twitter followers will enjoy. Don?t only retweet them.. but also send them a tweet letting them know you enjoyed and retweeted their tweet.
This has been a great source for getting more twitter followers.
2. Start a Conversation with someone. No-not a Twitter Celebrity. But someone who is active on Twitter. It?s a strong chance they will follow you shortly after the conversation.
3. Kred
In this world Kred is everything. Business Kred, Street Kred, and of course Twitter Kred.
You really stroke someone?s ego when you give them a +1 on Kred on Twitter.
How I know. It does for me.
Using Kred is very simple
Setting up a Kred account is free. It?s also quick and easy to use.
You can simply go down a list and just hit give Kred to friends. Choose the Twitter name you want to give Kred to and Boom. Don?t do it to many times. You don?t want your Twitter followers to be annoyed by all of the Kred Tweets in a row.
Space them out between some of your other tweets.

1. Post As Much as Possible(Within Reason)
Automate your Twitter Account. This probably one of the things that has helped me the most to get more twitter followers. You can use two different type of services for this, Hootsuite or SocialOomph. I am currently using Hootsuite and I love it. I know it?s important to reach as many as possible, so I do this by being on Social Networks at all times. I schedule my tweets for times I know I will not be on Twitter and just let it update for me. This way I don?t miss any of the hot time periods of the many different time zones four regions and countries. I also use Hootsuite to do the same thing for my Facebook, LinkedIn, Google +, LinkedIn groups, and other social network accounts.
2. Respond to every tweet your name is mentioned in, Good or Bad.
3. Thank those who retweet you.
4. Thank those who follow you.
5. Start Converstaions
6. Give Advice in tweets
7. Follow others- people who will follow you back
8. Go down the list and retweet tweets you Like ? You have to give to receive.
These same people will begin to retweet you.
9. Post Hot Topics.
This is an easy way to get retweets or responses. You can find hot topics on the front page of all major engines.
3. Completing the Necessities of Your Twitter Profile
1. Profile Picture.
Your profile picture will be your main selling point.
Before someone ever comes to your profile, they see your profile picture.
Use a face picture or some Really really cool picture.
2. Create a Cool Description.
At least make yourself sound exciting.
3. STAND OUT!
Standing out will get you more Twitter followers.
Grab the attention of your viewer!
Create a custom background.
If you don?t know how or don?t want to do it yourself you can go to

Great tips for using twitter. Like you i lurve using Hootsuite it has helped me stay connected to all my followers. Plus sharing content i find alone the way.
Have you used the new feature Hootsiute has its called Hootlet. Is an add on for chrome super great i tell you. As you browse the web you can using Hootlet schedule the stuff you find that’s just awesome.
