Bringing Back the coolness of the Walkie Talkie (Prip Push To Talk App)
Very Cool…
I don’t know how many of you remember the cool and easy Nextel Chirp App. Well Prip has an app that is just as cool.
The Prip push to talk App
I will be honest that was one of my favorite apps to use back in the day. It was how texting is now days. Instead of having to have a long drawn out conversation you could simply just send a walkie talkie message.
I don’t know if I missed the Walkie Talkie I had as a child or the App that was available back then. I am excited to see an App back like this. The great thing about Prip push to talk app is there is no contracts and it is very cheap.
Its only 1.99 a month.
You spend more than that driving down the street to get snacks from a gas station.
I really believe this is an App my generation and before have been waiting on.
Who knows maybe even the new generation who would much rather text than call is waiting for this type of Push To Talk App as well.
As A Parent
As a parent I think is a quick and easy way to stay in contact with your teen. Instead of calling or now days texting, you can send a quick chirp to check on them or let them know you are on your way to come pick them up.
It’s a great way to know where your child or children are at all times.
For the Elderly
Many of us have seen all of those push to talk gadgets for elderly to call in case of emergency. How convenient would it be for them to just push a button to send you a quick voice message?
Also many of the elderly, including my aunts and uncles are not into texting. This would be another alternative to texting. It’s quick, fun, and easy.
